The classic charcuterie board with an assortment of meats, cheeses, and crackers
Charcuterie boards can be an absolute delight – it’s no wonder why they continue to be so popular! With fresh meats, cheeses, pickles, and crackers all carefully arranged on top of a wooden board, it’s hard not to go into full blown foodie mode! Out of all the varieties available, my favorite go-to is the classic: with prosciutto and Italian salami accompanied by creamy brie and aged cheddar. I like to top it all off with a few crispy crackers and a variety of olives. And don’t forget the mustards, jams, or honey for a pop of sweetness.

When my friends come to visit, they always know they’re in for a treat because I love taking out my vegetarian charcuterie board. It’s like a game of “I Spy” as I search through my pantry and refrigerator to create the perfect combination of colors and textures. There’s the expected hummus, olives, and crunchy nuts but also fresh slices of flavorful breads – all healthy ingredients that pack tons of protein and nutrients. With a board like this, there’s something for everyone!

A fruit and cheese board with grapes, berries, and different types of cheese
Making a fruit and cheese board seems like such an fancy and grown-up thing to do, but I gotta tell you, it’s also super fun and so yum! Whether it’s for a special brunch or a party platter, I just love making these boards. All the different colors of grapes, berries and cheeses look amazing together – adding little flowers or herbs for decoration can make it look even more beautiful. And let’s not forget about the tastes! A combination of tangy goat cheese and sweet blueberries is enough to make my taste buds do a dance. As someone who loves both cheese and fruit (sometimes fruits ARE dessert!), this dish is one of my favorites.

I also couldn’t resist some crunchy almond cookies drizzled with honey, coupled with some candied oranges and mangoes. Every bite was an explosion of flavor unlike anything I’d ever tasted before! If you’re looking for something special to satisfy your sweet tooth, this decadent charcuterie board is definitely it.
